Welcome to MenuMadeMagic. These terms govern your use of our platform at menumademagic.com. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms.

We've kept this straightforward — no hidden surprises.

1. What We Provide

MenuMadeMagic is a platform that helps restaurants create and publish digital menus online. Our services include:

• Creating and managing digital menu pages
• AI-powered photo-to-menu conversion (you photograph your physical menu, our AI digitizes it)
• QR code generation for your menu
• Menu analytics — view counts, device types, and popular sections (Pro plan)
• Custom branding with your logo, colors, and hours

2. Your Account

To use MenuMadeMagic, you need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information about your restaurant

You may create and manage up to 5 menus under a single account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

MenuMadeMagic offers two paid plans: Starter ($9/month USD) and Pro ($22/month USD). New users receive a one-time 14-day free trial.

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
• Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel anytime through your account dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Each published menu requires its own active subscription.
• If a payment fails, we'll retry and notify you. After 7 days of failed payment, your menu may be unpublished.
• When you cancel, your menu is unpublished but your data is preserved — you can re-subscribe to go live again.

4. Your Content

You own your content. Menu items, descriptions, photos, and restaurant information you upload remain yours. We don't claim ownership of any content you create on our platform.

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to display it on your published menu page and process it through our services (such as AI menu parsing). This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload, including photos and descriptions.

5. AI-Powered Features

Our photo-to-menu feature uses Google's Gemini AI to extract text and structure from photos of physical menus. When you use this feature:

• Your menu photo is sent to Google's API for processing
• The AI-generated menu items are presented for your review and editing before publishing
• AI output may contain errors — you should always review parsed results for accuracy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for anything other than legitimate restaurant menu management
• Upload illegal, harmful, or misleading content
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
• Create accounts to abuse the free trial
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the platform

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep MenuMadeMagic available and reliable, but we're an early-stage platform. We don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, make updates, or experience downtime.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Upon termination, your published menus will be taken offline. We may retain your data for a reasonable period for legal or operational purposes before permanent deletion.

9. Limitation of Liability

MenuMadeMagic is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
